Child Safety Standards

Mass Bears & Cubs, Inc. — Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Mass Bears & Cubs (“MBC”, “we”) operates the Mass Bears & Cubs mobile app and website for an adult community organization. Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over only. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.

Prohibited conduct

The following are strictly prohibited across all MBC services, events, and communications:

• Creating, sharing, requesting, or possessing CSAM, including sexualized depictions of minors in any medium.

• Grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to sexually exploit, solicit, or endanger a minor.

• Facilitating or advertising CSAE, including trafficking of minors.

• Any conduct that sexualizes minors or promotes the sexual abuse of children

Age requirements

• The MBC app and MBC events are for adults 18 years of age and older.

• The app does not offer accounts, messaging between users, or user-generated content. It provides event listings, a calendar, ticket links, and membership and contact forms that send information only to MBC staff.

• Our events are held at adult venues that verify age at the door.

Reporting

Anyone can report a child safety concern to us at any time:

Reports are reviewed promptly. We will acknowledge receipt and take action as described below.

Enforcement

If we become aware of CSAE or CSAM connected to our services or community:

• We will remove the offending content or listing immediately.

• We will ban the person involved from MBC membership, events, and communications.

• We will preserve relevant evidence and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org) and to local law enforcement, as required by United States law.

• We will cooperate with valid legal requests from law enforcement.

Compliance

MBC complies with all applicable child safety laws, including United States federal reporting obligations under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. We review these standards at least once a year and update them as laws and our services change.
